Yeah that's me up there next to my 1955 Chevy Bel Air. Wow I was young! I grew up in the automotive industry and I was taught things by some really special and knowledgeable people. One in particular was a guy by the name of Frank but everyone called him "Curley". He owned Frank's Mobile" He believed in a dumb kid like me, but he still tried to teach me. The things he taught me I tried to pass on to other "dumb kids" I didn't do it as well as Curley did it but I try. Its my passion for cars that has turned into a love for the sport of drag racing. Everything I do is to promote and preserve the legacy of William Tyler Jenkins aka "The Grump". I try to pay homage to him for all the developments that he has given to the sport of Drag Racing. Unfortunately he never got to reap the benefits, although other companies did and still do to this very day. I never listened to my father I spend all my money out my pocket for this cause and never put anything up for the future. I guess that's why they say "hindsight is 20/20". Took me a long time to learn that. Anything that is done on this website I hope will help educate someone. Hopefully they will continue to learn about "the Grump" and promote the man and the things he did...his legacy. I do that by promoting nostalgia drag racing and I use the knowledge I have of "the Grump" to pilot my vessel. On my journey I've worked for companies such as Midas Muffler Shops, Johnson Towing and Transportation , Miller Ford Transportation Group and Morgan Tire. These companies were somewhat good to me. They helped me with my career of being a "gear head" and a qualified manager. I received a lot of accolades, certifications and awards through the years. I appreciate the people that were along with me on my journey, some really good people. There were some knuckleheads too don't get me wrong, but its all good. I have no regrets though.
